We initially came on a Sunday but it was closed. Again, all were good but I would probably just stick with the savory ones as the chocolate/marmalade one was really dense as opposed to airy or fluffy. We got the vegetarian one, a hot salami one, a third one I can't recall and a chocolate/marmalade one for dessert. We again looked towards the backroom but this time we saw all those previously filled serving trays were now empty. However, at this time, you'll notice the selection is much more sparse as they're trying to sell the remainder of the day's production. They were still open but the lines were significantly shorter and our wait was not even 5 minutes. After we ate, we walked around and when we got hungry again, we decided to go back to Luini around 6 or 7. If you look towards their back room, you'll see huge serving trays filled with unbaked and unfried panzarotto waiting to be made. During our 1PM visit, I got the panzerotto of the day which was like a pizza in a fried pocket and a sweet one that was like a mini croissant. Some have described them as a cross of pizza and sandwich which is probably apt. These panzarotto snacks are like these doughie, bready, calzone-type pockets either fried or baked and filled with various combinations of meats, cheeses and sauces. It was around 1PM when we stepped through the door and the showcase was packed with all kinds of goodies. In about 20 minutes, you'll get to the front. Again, there are 2 lines so just pick 1 and get on it as they actually moved at a brisk pace. Apparently, it's famous with tourists and locals alike which leads to 2 separate lines that were at least 50 deep when we arrived the first time.
